Mardi Gras
Each Coast town has parades and balls for weeks leading up to the biggest on Fat Tuesday, Mardi Gras Day! Come experience King Cake, Moon Pies, the costumes and gorgeous floats, beads and stuffed toys, and do your part by saying, “Hey, Mister! Throw me something!”
Thunder Over the Sound
Keesler AFB and Biloxi Air & Space Show This year, the Air Force’s unique Thunderbirds will headline the 2-day show. There will be open house on base, many different vintage plane demonstrations, culminating each day with the renowned Thunderbirds. 2018 was the first time it occurred over the waters of the Gulf, and the event sold out the Coast! Gulfport Harbor Lights Winter Festival
Thanksgiving to New Year’s Eve One of the largest Christmas light displays in the South! Located at Jones Park and the Gulfport Harbor, the many-acre display was featured in a recent Hallmark movie! Santa, dancing Christmas Trees coordinated to Christmas songs, walking trails through giant ornaments and decorated tunnels, a Ferris Wheel, hot chocolate, and lighted displays of castles, cartoon characters, and many displays of things related to our area-boats, alligators, shrimp, lighthouses, etc.-, all join together to make one of the most enjoyable Christmas activities around.
